I love how Megatron has to, I don't know how to describe it, but strategize and kind of 'woo' (if that makes any sense?) Starscream rather than just beat him down and bully him. It shows an intelligent, focused Megatron, but one who is not flat or thin, though he's still quite possibly a megalomaniac

That's how I (and I'd say meaisin as well, though obviously she can speak for herself if she wants) see their relationship, personally. I think SS really is valuable to Megatron. I think SS has to be, given how I see Decepticon society. As I see things, he's the second best -- which means he's the best Megatron has. So I write Megatron in a way that reflects that respect.
