Hmm... Not what I meant, exactly. Repair is one thing, asking for an interface is another. It's obvious to me that Starscream's intentions were for far more than simple repair, and Optimus suspects that, but goes ahead and does the interface anyways, which Starscream manipulates anyways. I'm so sure of Optimus is aware of this until it's a bit too late.

As for the writing style, maybe it's because this one is more Autobot-focused, but it's the tone of the story that I think feels different, not so much the style.
