This is an experiment. It's the first chapter of an AU, collaborative fic on TFW2005's message boards. There are so many writers signed up for this that I don't know where exactly it will go. But I liked some aspects of this, like the Bayverse apocalyptic aesthetic and the chance to take on a character that I haven't really explored before. 

Skywound is an OC, a creation of one of the other writers and Shockwave's SIC on Earth. As he's not mine and this is the first chapter, I know little about him at this point other than that as his creator describes him, he's prim, proper, and thorough.

And no, I'm not the one who suggested the 'Cons won. I swear! THE ONLY THING I ADMIT TO IS W00TING LOUDLY.
