Yeah, that's my reading as well. There always strikes me as being something masochistic about that "make me!" style of submission of G1!SS. I've read non-fictional accounts of subs who serve by taking pain, and the service element is what makes it pleasurable to them, which is how I read SG!SS' response - not so much "make me!" as "use me!" But it's always the case that things intermingle and can't be distilled fully one from the other.
