Summary: For crimson_optics' monthly prompt on LJ, "Ambition." My re-telling of the events of Megatron: Origin where Starscream first meets Megatron. Spoken dialogue is from the comic, with the exception of the last line. And a few things have been reworded so Megatron isn't going "Hnn" every third word and sounding like some sort of twisted robotic Ent.

Yes, I am working on the next chapter of Nova, and hopefully it will be up by next week sometime. This is the week of my birthday, so I've been very busy. So I'm just going to post an RP log today.

I had posted an essay tocrimson_optics about Megatron and Starscream, and in the comments I made reference to this fic I wrote, explaining that it originally was part of the RP I've posted snippets from before, and in that RP Megatron had thought about the events and commented on them. decepticon41 wanted to see that part, so I've decided to post it here.

As I've mentioned in other logs I posted from the same RP, I'm playing Megatron and Optimus Prime is played by aeon_entwined. By this time in the RP, Megatron and Optimus are lovers and there's an uneasy truce between the factions (which, of course, Megatron is scheming to pervert to his own ends.)

Okay, this is an odd little experiment I decided to post. It's actually a piece of a very long (slashy, but for those who dislike it, there is only one brief reference to anything slashy here, so you can read it too!) RP log. I believe it should be generally readable without background info, but for those who want it (slight spoilers for AHM #12):

In the RP, I play Megatron (and a few Autobots, and so far all of the other Decepticons, including Starscream, who you see here... I'm a busy 'Con it would seem) and am actually paired with Optimus (who you don't see here, which is sad because aeon_entwined is slagging brilliant and the best OP ever.) This little scene occurs after an alternate version of the end of All Hail Megatron #12. The Decepticons, under Starscream, leave Megatron for dead. Prime saves him and brings him to the base for repairs, where much slashy fun occurs. This scene takes place after Megatron has returned to the Decepticons' base, where Starscream has assumed leadership.

Anyway, on to the log! It's a bit rougher than my usual stuff because, being a live log, it's improv with a couple edits.
