Thank you! I really had fun with this Starscream, so I'm glad he works so well for you.
I think he's still SAMmy in his way. He just does it with double-edged words that sound like they mean something innocuous and actually mean something very different. But yes, he's taken aback by the resurrected Megatron (yes, Megs did die) and not sure how to respond to him. Also, the guy just cannoned the throne he was sitting on to a mass of red-hot mod and then ripped off his whole chestplate in one go, so he knows he needs to be careful. ;-)
And yeah, Megatron does have a more... well, I don't want to say a more brutal side to him, as I think all Megatrons have that, but this one is (as we've seen in the show) a little more prone to doing very violent things fueled by intense emotion. He's self-controlled, but he also does things that someone else could never try because he believes (rightly, as I see him) he can pull it off, as he's essentially godlike now in several ways.
That should be scary (and also awesome.) I'm glad you feel I did convey the creepiness of it.
