Clarity (minific that isn't one at all for mpinsky)

This is the second post for my minific/drabble experiment. It grew into a full-fledged fic. I wanted it to be short and not at all sweet, but my Plotbunny Overlords had very different ideas.

(Feel free to submit other prompts if you like; I have ideas for some there, but am still open to suggestions. And may do more than three if you all provide me sufficient awesome provocation.)

Title: Clarity
Characters: Megatron and Thundercracker (the prompt calls for slash, but this story is not. Well, I suppose it depends on how you interpret Megatron giving beatings.)
Prompt (which this only remotely resembles) : Megatron/Thundercracker: "You just need to become accustomed to the sensation." G1 or IDW. Take your pick.
Verse: A couple of details make it consistent with some others of mine that aren't quite G1, but they're incidental enough to call it good.

Wordcount: 1.700+
Rating: PG-13 for beatings.
Warnings: Maybe a bit violent, but if you've ever seen Megatron smack SS around in G1 you're probably fine. Perhaps a bit more violent, but not by much.
