Oooooer. One person? One person?

Well, I've already gushed about ultharkitty and lyricality, but I think a lot of people know their works. I already mentioned Blue Buick R as well, who I think is a little more obscure, and also very full of awesome.

So in an effort to pick out someone else I consistently think is amazing... I'm going to say zuzeca. She's just got this fascinating way of looking at things, and the stories she comes up with are rarely anything I'd think of but manage to capture my imagination all the same. There's something about the imagery that really makes me feel I'm there and can see it. Especially her Bayverse stuff -- it's like looking at all those amazing effects, but quiet and thoughtful and melancholy rather than OMG EVERYTHING JUST EXPLODED before you have a chance to soak in the pretty. It's its own unique style, and it's beautiful.

Have a look at A Place Without Expectation especially (contains spark-sex and xenophilia.) It just makes the strangest coincidences and happenings so vivid and real. And if you don't like spark-sex or xeno, I'd still say it's worth giving a try -- the sexual encounter is one small part of a much greater whole, and it's written as strange and surreal, so it might not hit the usual squick buttons.
