This feels cracky, as you said, but still very in character and it opens up some interesting possibilities for the third movie. Probably doubtful they'll come to pass, but oh man, if we get Megatron and OP teaming up in a hate-alliance to stop Shockwave's coup...I think my brain might just explode with joy.
