One of the many, many reasons I was massively put off by Revenge of the Fallen, but high among them, was the idea of Megatron serving anyone willingly. NO.
Oh, very much so. Ugh. First-Bay-Movie Megatron is not one of my favorites, but he was part of what got me interested enough to revisit Transformers after not being big on them in my childhood. Seeing him go from "fearsome, with some bad lines but several awesome ones" to "Darth Vader" irked the slag out of me.
