Hi! This is the anon who made that comment on fandomsecrets. Love the way you analyze their characterizations, I think you've got it spot on - Megatron representing order, Starscream having a childish mentality, and the contrast between their respective goals and, well, everything really. The part about it being easily interpreted as abusive, too. I will never understand that argument against the pairing, since like you said, they're bad guys. Since when are we supposed to expect bad guys to have healthy relationships? (And yeah, finding something interesting in fiction =/= condoning it in real life.) I'm probably rambling here, sorry about that.
