Yeah. I’m still pissed that he basically completely retconned Megatron: Origin to be about... things it was not at all about, just because it helped him tell the “no one is evil, just misguided” story he felt like telling.
That I think was the most annoying bit for me. That even mechs like Tarn and Overlord who were ostensibly supposed to be terrifying ended up to be whiny and insecure once you got to know what was really motivating them.
I’m okay with characters having flaws but jro just reads like “everyone is a loser and always will be” and ugh wow.
