And yes. I never could make sense of that ep at all, really. The whole idea that Starscream was a reasonably nice mech who became a warrior because it was "more exciting" but still missed his friend... nah. I can easily believe that of some other 'Cons, but not Screamer.
(Hmm, now I'm starting to wonder if anyone's written that "fall from grace" well, OOC as I think it would be.)
