Nice beginning, really hooked me in. And what you did with Wheeljack. HOLY FRAG. At once glorious (when he becomes a symbol of resistance, a myth almost) and so very, very sad.

And this: Anything, even this terrible show, wrenching and tugging at everything he was, would be better than driving off into his empty quarters, alone, unnoticed even by the master who had forbidden him to see this. Beautifully bleak.
There are touches of bleak hope all the way through this. The Autobots who are still alive, although living their own personal hells, the rumour that Bumblebee might not yet be dead. I found this a really interesting strand, and a nice counterpoint to Mirage's experiences and the reasons he's been spared.
Or at least the consciousness invading it, invading him, twisting up passion and pleasure until they meant nothing he understood, nothing he wanted, nothing he was. I especially liked this line. There's a wonderful rhthm throughout this which works very well, especially in the spark merging scenes.
